I lost a finger at 15 and it has come in handy as a party trick. My mates would sometimes bet some dills at the pub a round of beers that their mate could stick his finger right up his nose. They were had. When the kids were young I used to tell them that if they picked their nose and sneezed, they'd end up like dad. Worked for a while.
