…while I try to upgrade the site to the latest version of WordPress. Things might be a bit strange until I iron out the wrinkles.
Note to self: try uploading all of the files before you switch over…
Ok… Well, everything seems to be in working order. Those of you who can log in will notice the change behind the scenes! The next step is to put together a new theme, which will (1) make it more obvious that Mark doesn’t post everything on this blog, and (2) resolve some of the problems people have had scrolling through long comments threads.

WP 1.6 huh? Sexy. Can I make a theme request?
One word: serif. It makes it easier to read text in large chunks.
I agree with Liam. And also, does that bloody bridge come in any other colours?
The colour scheme is up to Mark, though I’m sure he would welcome suggestions.
Limited to within the ambit of mauve/purple.
You can have any bridge colour you like as long as it’s purple!!
I have to disagree with liam hogan and Nabakov.
As long as there aren’t any HUGE paragraphs (which is actually true of most fonts IMO) I prefer the san serif.
To me, Time New Roman and the like are EVIL!
Blue and Gold!
san serif is actually better to read on screen with backlighting - serif works best on paper
