And speaking of the West Wing, in one ep, Leo McCarry said he flew in Vietnam an F-105 Fighterchief.
For fuck’s sake Aaron, the F-105 was the Thunderchief. Republic always prefixed their fighter and attack jet names with “Thunder”. Your credibility is now permanently shot with me Sorkin.

Oh well, if we can have a whole list, then (to begin seasonally) I heart the Kings College Choir, ‘O Holy Night’, ‘The Shepherd’s Farewell’, eggnog, champagne, Laphroiag and Haigh’s Christmas Pudding chocolates.
I also heart Garry Trudeau and Doonesbury, meerkats, Alan Rickman, roast potatoes, Tex Perkins, Dorothy Dunnett’s King Hereafter, and the drive out of the Barossa Valley from Angaston to Cambrai.
Zoe would make an excellent PM. So would Kimberella, who has already had plenty of leadership experience as Queen of the Pirates.
If only life was as rational and erudite as The West Wing.

And I propose Dr. Cat as their groovy non-elected confidante and semi-secret spooky advisor, sort of like in “The President’s Analyst” or something. And I heart President Oprah.
I also heart Krazy Kat and ‘Ignatz’ “Mice,” and I especially heart Offisa Pup’s heart-felt soliloquies.
And I heart the Fastbacks’ “Zucker.”
And I propose that in honor of the vibe of this thread, the lyrics to “Love Hurts” be temporarily changed to “Love Hearts”…

I heart a well-paying and FUN media gig which just landed in my lap TOTALLY UNEXPECTEDLY, meaning that for the next four months I do not have to worry about paying the rent or eating or feeding the dog or any of that stuff. It should also give me enough time to pursue several other cool and exciting projects that are going on.
