I came across Greg Patillo’s beatbox flute on one of the Nintendo fanboy blogs, because he plays the Super Mario Bros theme. Then Nick Evans emailed me Patillo’s version of the Inspector Gadget theme, with a bit of the Beverley Hills Cop theme thrown in for good measure. The clips are, as usual, over the fold.

So that’s what Ian Anderson was trying to do for all those years in Jethro Tull. I’d go and see him in concert, but I think I’d sit in the third row back…you know, health reasons and all that.
