Spana, what possible justification can you have for trying to resurrect this 3.5 year old thread? This is pure flamebaiting to generate heat and light over one of your pet issues that is not currently in the news.

So, congratulations and welcome to the sin-bin for the rest of the week. If you can manage to comment substantively on-topic on current threads, such comments will be published. Tedious rehashings of the same old talking points that we've seen you repeat on at least your last twenty excursions here will not be published.

So the logic is that because poor people can't access abortion for free let's make it legal. Great policy. Nevermind the fact that it traumatises women and kills a baby. As for the jargon about the so called forced pregnancy lobby, this is yet another example of the low intellectual level of discussion put out by the abortion lobby. The vast majority of pregnancies are the result of consensul sex. The choice occured at the time of sex and the baby should not be killed because of a lack of personal responsibilty.

The concept of people thinkg that sex should be without responsibilty is a result of materialistic individualism. Furthermore to turn around and expect taxpayers to pay for the abortion is an appalling policy. In Mexico or in Australia, taxpayers should not be forced to fund abortion.

It's well, someone once said.

It's well and all manner of things shall be well.

One of those smart girls said that a thousand years ago.

PK,

until mainstream Christianity in the US is cut down to a reasonable size of say 5% church attendance, only the secular humanists including atheists are worth talking to

I can hardly believe you wrote that.

Sounds a bit like an secular humanist manifesto!

Don't worry AK, It blows my mind that our universe may have come from nothing, zilch, zip.

Meantime, the fundies and controlling women's bodies: reasons thereof based on an invisible man watching everything you do and what goes in (and out) of the exclusively human womb, (not chimpanzees who share 96% or so of our genes), of the highest life forms on a planet, of a smallish star, one of billions in the milky way galaxy, in its outer spiral arm going around every 200 million years...

So much to discover when we have a chance to colonise the galaxy over the next few million years, but sadly, like so many of our ancestors, so many of us are still steeped in superstition, ignorance and still debate the EVIL religious consequences and permutations of using our genitalia.

Holy Fuck.

Jesus Holy God!

If you bring up string theory, dear Peter, you're going to be stepping in it big.

Keep your respectible atheism around you and don't, don't bring up things like these.

God comes in bigger and badder than ever the farther you go out there.
