they remind me alot of late seventies, early eighties indie bands - which is what they are aiming to sound like - Angie Pepper’s the Passengers - comes to mind

Incidentally NouVague also did brillant bluesy torchy versions of “Human Fly” and “Bella Lugosi’s Dead”.
