Brisgrogblogging for Troppo’s Nicholas Gruen

Just before I head off on holidays, a quick announcement. Club Troppo’s Nicholas Gruen will be in Brisbane next week to give a seminar and he’s asked whether I could rustle up some folks for a grogblog. I’m suggesting we meet on Wednesday night the 25th of July at 7pm at Hotel Bravo on Brunswick St. That’s where we had the grogblog for Helen Dale - on weeknights it’s quiet enough to talk and there’s a good tapas menu or people can sit down to dinner if they like. Good wine list and good gas heaters as well!

It’s accessible via both New Farm bus routes from the city and just over the road from Blockbuster. It’s also only about a ten minute walk from Brunswick St station if you’re travelling by train to the Valley. Directions, etc, are here. Please feel free to cross-post and please leave a comment here if you’re planning to come. Look forward to seeing some new folks and meeting some already met folks again!

I’ll be there on Wednesday too, Mark (I arrive around 1.30pm) - do you want to kill two birds with one stone, and have me show up as well?

Bugger and sorry - I did the dyslexic thing and misread the date. I won’t be arriving until the Thursday (the 26th). Sorry about that.

    Blame Nick’s seminar scheduler!

Just a note for anyone who hasn’t seen the more recent post - we’re now meeting @ 8. Same place.
