    It’s only if they root sheep in parliament as I understand the law. And only if it is considered denigrating, which may not be the case across the tasman.

    Actually, with that kind of material to play with I’m surprised Stewart couldn’t make more of it. Frankly this is like that old favourite “this statement is false”. Passing a law like this inherently holds parliament up to satire.
