Not sure my notes were comprehensive Mark, but I agree it was a great day and good to faces to a lot of names I knew.

I'll be posting later today on a couple of other sessions I attended The Politics of Blogging and Citizen Journalism.

I've seen a few other people's thoughts on the day via a technorati search on Australian Blogging conference and "blogoz" tag. In fact I'll be surprised if most the attendees don't have at least one post on the topic.

It was a really worthwhile day, I thought.

I think Derek at Woolly Days will probably post some more on two of the other sessions I went to - the one on political blogging and the net and the one on citizen journalism, as I saw him taking what appeared to be comprehensive notes of the discussions. Peter's asked people who posted on the proceedings to send him links which will be added to the conference website.

I might do a post later on in the weekend, and I'm uploading the photos I took to Facebook.

The hope is that it will become an annual event and Melbourne was being discussed as the likely venue next year.

Also on the general topic of blogging, this is a fascinating look at how bloggers are helping confront the regime in Burma:

Totally off topic, but certainly in the best spirit of progressive blogging, I have just translated a newly leaked memo detailing Bush's conversation with former Spanish PM Aznar just weeks before the Iraq War began. Check it out.
