It’s a trap I’m sure all of us have fallen in to a few times (particularly after a few too many post-dinner glasses of red).

I loudly condemn the failure of the cartoonist to denounce atrocities in Darfur.

For some unknown reason my beloved husband drew my attention to it yesterday.

Wow this little comic has really struck a note. Grodscorp, Onymous and now LP all singing its praises ;-D

Speaking of coming to bed, it seems John McCain’s been rather too close to a young female lobbyist (31 years younger than him). And I thought Wendi Deng was pushing the envelope!

Juan Cole has a good take-down of McCain today, complete with pix, but this story obviously came along after he’d already put that post to bed.

(See how easy it is to relate your very important comment to a post without digressing TOO much???)

I’ve actually managed to weaqn myself from blogging twelve hours a day, which I used to do more or less when I first discovered LP, but I know what he means.

(xkcd always has alt-text to the cartoons)
