It was clinically balanced, with Belinda’s version of reality counterposed at each step with that of various members of the rest of the world. Somehow she just didn’t look believable.

Let’s face it, they’re a small bunch compared to other nations.

Della and Belinda went out for a quiet meal with their friends at a friend’s restaurant. They had a good evening and then, having enjoyed the evening and having thanked and tipped the staff for good service, they quietly went home. We all do this.

And (so they thought) for the staff at the restaurant another pleasant couple and their friends were on their way having enjoyed a good time, as happens every weekend.

Then Della and Belinda wake up on the following morning and all hell has broken loose.

A vast right-wing conspiracy, long in the making, entraps them.

The staff at the restaurant, supposedly chosen by their friend, turn out to be plants of the evil VRWC. They give untruthful accounts of what happened on that most pleasant evening.

As soon as this happens Rupert (the Evil One’s) minions rise up and start publicising this totally false story, not because it has a scintilla of truth to it but because it was always planned so as part of a VRWC.

Then, perfectly orchestrated, because they are also part of the VRWC and have been worded up on what they have to do, every member of the NSW Left who has ever encountered Belinda Neal comments to the Evil Murdoch media, falsely accuses her of being anything other than what she truly is- Bambi! A certain sign of a VRWC.

So I agree with you (although without all the CAPITALS) she is a totally innocent victim.

The staff at the restaurant, most likely kids, are part of a clever VRWC and therefore must be disbelieved and so, despite what Ambigulous has said elsewhere, for that reason have no rights at work. They are cunning schemers and not honest workers.

I think that when the Parliament next assembles its first order of business must be to apologise to her, and GROVELINGLY so.

So true Paul. And sad. But Murdoch & his ilk, icluding the Current Affairs mob threw the gasoline on the fire…& whilst the so called Left & Progressives spent time trying to put each spot fire out whilst the public were drawn to the flames, plenty of devious stuff was done in the shadows…I could hear the bad wolves chuckling thruout the night. It got to the point where you had to fight fire w/ fire. But I’m hoping that one big mudda fugger of a balloon hits the skies & dumps cool, fresh water on the whole scene…soon…say 2009? I dreaded reading about this saga…but you’ve made it digestible…& no pic of Belinda Neal going berserk or hitching up her shorts…how REFRESHING…
