No probs Darlene…indeed, it is a sad situation. The collision of cultures can bring much suffering, along w/ some benefits. But when the mighty in the religious, political, business & military camps combine to solve problems, so often we see intentional & accidental negligence combined w/ ‘big stick’ & profiteering approaches, and insanity can breed at the expense of the unaware.

So many Aboriginal tribes & individuals have much to show the so called “civilised” when it comes to surviving in a capricious environment that will treat you harshly if you don’t understand its idiosyncrasies, connectivity & uniqueness.

Adaptability is about more than using a can of bug killer…and constructing a hothouse as a home…and gathering the children of the battered-wise in propaganda sheds…and teaching the walkers to stand still & tremble the roots out of themselves…and demanding they work hard at learning to love fear & loathing & greed.

Harmony has its place…but too often it has tragically abandoned the life of the dispossessed.

At least some know enuff, feel enuff to say “sorry” & in doing so bring a shaft of LIGHT back into the tormented mind of the LOST, traumatised, embittered & confused…dispossessed.
