Amos’ site Linked text has a comprehensive list of Zim links.
Scuse. Amos’ site is called ‘a-cees media centre’, not ‘Linked text’.
Watching Tsvangirai shake Mugabe’s hand on the news last night was scary and impressive. To know this brute has been responsible for killing so many members of your party, your friends, having had you beaten, having destroyed the country and so on. It’s beyond my puny understanding really.
I had thought that a SADC/AU brokered Govt. of National Unity was probably the only way forward, but one can only hope that included in any negotiated outcome is a firm timetable for Mugabe to step down. I can’t see any real progress until he goes.
