Not so sensible was getting up at midday when I needed to be in Northcote with my drums by 1pm to soundcheck for a live recording. A cab ride and a probably still over the limit drive crisscrossing the inner north later, and I was the only 40 minutes late. Everything came together in the end, largely thanks to a much-needed kebab before the first set, and then said kebab making a surprise reappearance between sets in the band room dunny. Rock. And. Fucking. Roll. To give an idea how NOT rock and roll I was feeling - I still have two rider cards in my pocket.
