I would welcome and go along to a Canberra event (well, as long as it’s not on Saturday).
Mark: There are a few LPers (and some on Catallaxy and my blog as well) in Blighty. If you fancy a trip to Oxford (and, having been here this long, I am familiar with the best and cheapest pubs), then I will be happy to host accordingly. I’ll also let people know about it on my blog and over at Catallaxy.

Heh – the grammar fairy has abandoned me (or blame it on English’s lack of a second person plural). I’ve also sent you details on FB. 3.30pm at the Three Goats’ Heads, St Michaels St, Oxford. Early time so it’s still light enough for out of townies to find it. If you are especially stuck for accommodation let me know and I will wing something with College if possible.
Of course, the requirement to have a facebook account before we can even *see* the details does make it a bit worthless. Have fun.
