This weekend was about not driving. We returned from a driving holiday from Newcastle to Perth (with a side trip up to Uluru). Over 12,000km in three weeks. I figured my parents made me do it, so it was my kids turn to experience how big this country really is.
Another photo weekend from me.
Got this one last night.

One of the wilder days of the year here so it was batten down the hatches and throw another log on the fire. Meanwhile a bit of a fillip and maybe a ray of sunshine for my descendants with the clean energy future. But there
had to be a downside too and it came from Port Adelaide. Whingeing, sniping and of course, losing. Play the ball lads, not the man and the umpires will reward you if that’s what’s needed.
Ironically given recent carbon tax stoushing, I am in Copenhagen this weekend.
Getting over the ‘flu by working overnight, midwinter shifts.
Got home at 8am Sunday. Slept ’til 7pm. Started work at 8.30pm.
Quiet weekend. Still beavering away weiting chapter 8 of my book in one way or another.
Watched the Gillard/Abbott Puppet Show on ABC TV last night.
