Readers of Laura’s post on the winner of the Smartyhost blog award may be interested to know that the most established and best Oz Blog Awards – Keks’ – are on again for 2006. Because of bandwidth issues, you can nominate over at Collective Apathy. The Australian Blog Awards are internal to the blogosphere, rely on blog readers’ nominations and votes (counted by PR) and have a great range of categories in which you can give some kudos to your favourite blogs.
You’ll need to register to add a comment to make your nominations.
There’s also an international blog awards – in which LP is nominated.
From memory, this is the one Tim Blair always wins, and he’s well ahead at the moment.
Unlike the AEC style PR count and registration process in the Australian Blog Awards, it seems that you can vote early and often in these ones (well, at least every 24 hours).

Anyone discovered not voting for LP will be either spanked or cuddled, depending on individual tastes.
And I’ll tweak nipples, depending on individual tastes
Now there are going to be some serious bribery allegations coming your way when the media gets wind of these comment
Tim Blair is already up to 296, while LP is only at 27! I bet he’s not offering up any cuddles either.
I voted/am voting for Quigggin. I might throw a few Tim L’s way too. Apart from the consistent quality and phenomenal workrate, we solo bloggers have to support each other against the encroaching menance of
Borgblog collectivism. Not that its going to matter, as Cristy points out.
As for personal tastes, none of the above.
