I just watched the clip for Adultery… Now I need a little lie down.

Love Deb’s bluesy version of Man Overboard.

Mark, I think you’ve got the flu – after seeing your flushed face last night.

Yep, I’m not well, SL! But home by nightfall.

Actually it turned out to be something less and more than a Deborah Conway gig:

One of the country’s favourite singer-songwriters Deborah Conway has gathered a group of equally inspiring musical talents – Kev Carmody, Dave Faulkner and Seaman Dan – to journey from Emerald to Brisbane via Gladstone, Bundaberg and Gympie to discover the secrets of storytelling and song-writing, Aussie style.

I wish to acknowledge here I am not a Queenslander, and the borders and distances have become closer because of better roads. There certainly is something about Deb.,but I think at this stage on how I was hearing the song, words were hard to catch..music style fine…her best years are at least 15 to 25 years on,but shit by that time all the band will need weight training, diaphragmatic breathing feedback devices and a long sojourn into the disappointment that Australia is now entering.I stiil try hitting a mournful note, untrained with some life experiences unborn of a talent for singing first. I cannot order my days.
