For the first time in my life, I replayed an advert.
A good case as to why more short filmmakers should be employed by the ad industry, rather than copywriters.
At what point did people get it was ‘The Wind’? I got it at the messing-up-the-hair scene and the rest was very enjoyable.

That was very very good. Although perhaps they shouldn’t have featured the model wind turbine over his shoulder right from the start. That tipped it off for me. Perhaps instead it edging into a steadily widening frame each time they cut back to Monsieur Wind. But beautifully set up and delivered to turn a problem into a solution. And inspired casting too.

Lovely, very lovely, though the subtext (wind power is being sold by irritating sociopaths!) is bizarre.

As to Monsieur Abbott & his post politics career – no no no – it requires one who can be sincere & convincing.
