First outage. No cake stall at Embleton Primary booth!

  2. The Worst of Perth

I mean outrage. Still it was a kind of cake outage.

  3. The Worst of Perth

The Christian Democrat (Whatever one of them is) is trying to ward off voters. A garlic necklace might help too.

Could go either way at this point which is truly amazing given the absolute joke rabble that is the Liberal party in this state. Labor have run the worst election campaign ever…

Polling booth workers are saying that the swing is on, and we’re getting it from an increasing number of volunteers…

NSW, the UK, WA, the NT and stateside the democratic-socialist brand is cratering all over.
Now why the hell is that?

By rights they should be kicking conservative butt six ways to Xmas…expletive Palin?

    Sorry ‘ please explain?’

    You’ve lost me.

  8. Brentwood

Brentwood PS needs two polling booths. One each for Bateman and Alfred Cove as it’s on an electoral boundary.

Election bloggy goodness: Worst of Perth and the WA Greens both have posts. Liveblogging is going to happen at The Poll Bludger, and Antony Green’s place at the ABC, where the election coverage will also be streamed. ABC Local Perth Radio also has a tally room blog.

Update: The polls in WA have now closed and local lad The Poll Bludger has opened his liveblogging post.

Watch it on your computer: Here’s the url for the ABC’s live streaming tv coverage.

I guess if a carpenter beats a seat-sniffing time-server then this will be the greatest upset in 2008 years.

Thanks Kim. It works OK but slows down.

Yet, I cannot understand why I am still interested in the voting of state that would have had Howard running the show, all around again, given their last federal intention.

Coalition need 4% swing. look like they’ve got it in aggregate …

  15. Kim

Certainly looking pretty dire for Labor.

Update: William Bowe’s been having database problems at The Poll Bludger, so his liveblogging of the WA count continues here at LP.

The worst of it is not yet understood. They also apparently have the upper house there.

In the UK they’ve had years of the insane gargoyle (aka Tony Blair) who’s a micromanaging nanny-statist par excellence not to mention one of the fucksticks who decided to reintroduce the world to colonial warfare. And he’s been replaced by someone even more irritating.

In Oz we don’t like it when one party has all the governments. Remember the height of the Hawkeating years nary an ALP state government anywhere. Now that’s Kevvie’s in Kirribilly the ALP’s gonna get the boot in the states. Mark it.

Not allowing a party to govern at state and federal level is a good thing.
