I think what Rod Cameron had to say on Lateline had a lot of merit – voters will give Kevin Rudd at least another year before making a final judgement. In the meantime, the Liberals probably are wasting their and all of our time with their constant shenanigans. Their best bet would be to lie low and stop making themselves the story. They’re unlikely to, of course. Too much a bunch of prima donnas, plotters and media tarts. And now we’ve got this to look forward to:

They’re both on the nose. The question is, which one do you expect to pull out of the dive? I’d back Labor, and not just because they’re the incumbents.
THis is the Federal newspoll not the WA election thread Andrew, but on that note the WA Nationals leader is revealing his choice for Premier next Sunday, its like an episode of Australian Idol.
He can wait until Sunday so as long as it looks like Labor can’t form a govt without the NATS.
Rudd should have a DD just to see who is right – Newspoll or Essential Research. Either way the LNP stand to lose more HOR seats.

To think that- thing- was going to be fobbed off on an unsuspecting nation as its next PM.
