The Political Compass is a now-venerable internet quiz of people’s political leanings. But, like certain public broadcasters we know, it is vulnerable to accusations that it fails to give full voice to the rich panoply of views that are vital to any living democracy.
If, like me, you are annoyed by the lack of representation for respectable conservative opinion online, you may find the corrected Compass over the fold more to your liking.

Over at Catallaxy, on a thread titled “Regulation and the Future of Payment Cards”, debate has raged over 254 comments. The quantity, however, is not matched by the quality, as the thread has become a one-sided schoolyard swearing contest between a couple of protagonists.
Thus far, there have been forty-four (44) occurrences of the word “fuck� on this thread, forty-three (43) of which are in original text in posts by Graham Bird. There have also been forty-two (42) occurrences of the word “cunt�, of which forty (40) are in original text by Graham Bird.
This can be taken as a negative vindication of LP comments policy and its application WRT Baby Huey.

Some of you have heard of a new scientific concept called Intelligent Design. It is cutting edge science that daily attracts news scientists unsatisfied with current theories about how life on Earth came to be.
Of course if you believe the bleeding hearts of the Left, Intelligent Design represents an assault on scientific reasoning. But it is obvious that Darwinism is dead. There are no scientists who actually believe in Darwinism any more. Oh sure some say they do but that is solely to get funding. I know that behind closed doors they laugh at the idea of evolution. But due to the control of universities by the leftist academic elites no one can dare criticise evolutionary dogma.

(CRAPMILL for short.) In between baiting stupid moonbat leftys (haaahahaha! They’re so stupid!!) and writing love letters to Dr. Nelson here is the submission I’ve been working on. With the acceptance by the Australian Senate of the WorkChoices Industrial Relations Reforms on 2 December [D2], the Howard government made another step forward in continuing to secure the prosperity and security of all Australians.
Why, then, did the Trade Unions and so many lefties kick up such a fuss, you might well ask. Well, the answer to that question is fairly straightforward:
- They do not care about the plight of the unemployed, since they cannot be members of any Trade Union;
- They, like their friends in the Labor Party, do not understand economics and, therefore, cannot seem to wrap their small minds around the fact that these laws will add yet another boost to the Australian economy;
- They have steadfastly refused to acknowledge the reality that we are living in a globalised economy and must do everything we can to prevent our jobs from moving off-shore; and
- They are megalomaniac fools who cannot accept that their time of dictating bad labour decisions to the Australian population has past.
Let me explain.
As a mother, there is a state of affairs that has come to my attention that is of great importance to all tax-paying families of this nation.
This is the straight out unfairness of the welfare system. Did you know that a biological mother of a child born to lesbian parents is entitled to receive the benefits of a single parent? This applies no matter what the income of the other so-called parent. The gays and lesbians of this nation are crying out for equality, even going so far as to involve themselves in sham marriages, but when it comes to being honest with the Australian tax-payer they conveniently forget this desire for equality. It’s this kind of double standard that is rampant throughout the whole Left and needs to be addressed by the Government.
In 2006 Australia will be sending a team of athletes to Torino to compete at the highest level possible for winter sports. In summer Olympic sports, especially swimming, athletics, and track cycling, Australia does its bit by our boys and girls through the support of the AIS and corporate fundraising.

Well, I’ve just sent in my letter of resignation the the Naked Knitting Feminist World Domination Collective…. laced with anthrax! No, no, I’m joking, it was only talcum powder but I reckon the biohazard clean-up crew’ll just be getting done with the tests about now.

The left-green infiltration of our universities has reached new depths, with the presence at Griffith University for ten successive years of a card-carrying communist and terrorist factotum.
Dr. Paul Norton teaches in Environmental Policy and Government-Business Relations at Griffith University. He likes to hawk himself around as a harmless “radical democratic” bohemian Che Guevara lookalike, but in fact this man’s past reveals him as one of the most insidious and malevolent crypto-totalitarians ever to have access to impressionable young minds.
Norton was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party of Australia for seven years, a paid functionary of its national office for three years and of its Brisbane State office for two. He was also a member of the CPA’s National Committee and Queensland State Executive. In these capacities he was responsible for raising funds for terrorist organisations including the African National Congress, the Phillipines New Peoples’ Army, the Irish Republican Army and various Latin American guerrilla organisations.
Barely a day goes by without the custodians of ideological orthodoxy (aka the MSM) informing us what new disaster the plague of humanity, (in particular white European male humanity) is inflicting on our “fragile” planet. Over the past 30 years we’ve been told we are running out of oil, food, metals and air. The earth is cooling, heating, drying and in danger of increasingly large dangerous storms. All of it laid at the feet at of an insidious cabal of multi-national corporations, rapaciously despoiling the earth in search of endlessly higher profits, mercilessly bribing governments and brainwashing people through the relentless march of advertising.
Sound familiar? A survey of the leftoid moonbat sites will find any number articles in praise or defence of what is, without exaggeration, the most insidious and subtly influential pressure group in world and the malicious lies they tell. A group sharing ideology with the Nazi’s. A group who’s many tentacles reach through academia, the media and infests our very schools. Yes I’m talking about the Greens.

For the past two years, the lefty media particularly the ABC and SBS has been more than willing to help broadcast the allegations made by the anti-war crowd that “Bush, Blair and Howard lied, soldiers and civilians died.” However, no matter how many times the likes of the ABC and the lefties have made this allegation, they’ve never been able to make it stick, not even with the lies of that Lancelot report.
The only thing they’ve proven thus far is that they hold to a twisted hatred of America and feel consumed with resentment toward Australia’s economic and political superiority attained solely by the wise leadership of John Howard. All that talk of economic reforms under the Hawk guvernment is merely lefty propaganda BTW.
Is it any wonder then, that some of us do indeed question the patriotism of the anti-war crowd? Don’t they get the message ”If you’re not with us, you are against us?” Don’t they understand that brave Americans and Brits are with us fighting terrists in Iraq?
It was a motivated and on top of his game PM we saw on The Insiders this past Sunday morning. All was going well, with the PM a paragon of practicality and focus, until the issue of sedition was brought up, it was here that he really rose to a new standard despite the ABC’s Barrie Cassidy’s sneaky attempts to derail his message. It’s more interesting to watch (4:54 in the video stream) than read. And by the way, is it just me or is the PM looking younger every day?
Now, some detractors would like you to think that the grand old man of Australian politics doesn’t get it, but by now I think we all know there isn’t anything the PM does not get. Typical of all those chic inner city types who take their marching orders from the MEAA union, Cassidy didn’t look up for a stoush when confronted with the facts as they were presented by the PM, his bags were already packed prior to the match and the jet was idling on the runway - no doubt ready to leave for France and join the car burning Islamist Intifada.
I also have it on good authority that Cassidy will soon be hosting a new sports wrap on Sundays, after The insiders, further polluting the minds of our sport mad youth with his insidious agenda. Our two vigilant Senators Santo Santoro and Eric Abetz should have a good look into this; it’s yet another example of bias by the ABC.
While watching Cassidy’s weak effort to derail the PM, I began thinking of Prof David Flint as a replacement for this muddle headed trendoid masquerading as a journalist, but after a mens room exchange during the past week, I now realise he’d be better suited for the vacant seat next to Dr. Janet Albrechtsen on the ABC board or alternatively (despite the recent appointment of Monica Attard who the ABC suspiciously sent to Moscow for two years), Media Watch.
