Lazy Sunday

Quiet Sunday.
Have been flipping through the Nag Hammadi Scriptures. 50 odd 1st, 2nd, 3rd century Gnostic writings, one or two of which predate the first of the four canonical gospels. Some of it is marvelously abstruse, almost to the point of incomprehensibility, while other stuff is elegantly simple. An interesting take on the early church.
Have also gone back to reading a biography of Marcus Aurelius which I hadn’t finished. Hope to finish it this afternoon unless I get too tired. Though I thought I might also rewatch the American House of Cards which is as brilliant as the critics say. Haven’t made my mind up yet.
Mark and Brian:
Looking forward to hearing about your decluttering and garage-sale and moving when you get a spare moment.
Any LP readers in Sydney want to come along to a good old-fashioned rock show at a legendary music venue tomorrow night? I’m part of a Hits of the 70s show at the Annandale Hotel from 8pm, and our rehearsals have been smokin’. Doing a range of rock/pop/disco/funk/etc hits. Bring your dancing shoes!
